The Suburban is a spacious SUV with room for up to 9 people. It is more than capable of towing as well with its powerful engine choices. Those interested in the Volt will have to check their Chevrolet Dealer Minnesota or other local Chevy dealer for the availability of the model. GM will have another delay after the closing of its Detroit-Hamtramck plant for four weeks next month. The plant will be closing for upgrades and the closing of the plant means that retail deliveries will be further delayed over the next three months. GM is upgrading the plant to be able to produce more Volts per year due to an increased demand that was not expected to be so great so soon. The Volt is the Motor Trend Car of the Year for 2011 and one of GM's most exciting recent models.

Regardless of the delay this summer, the Volt will be made available nationwide by the end of the year at local Chevrolet dealerships. The plant that is undergoing reconfiguration will also produce the 2013 Chevy Malibu, another high demand Chevy model that will go on sale during the first quarter of 2013. The Malibu and the Volt are two of Chevy's latest vehicles that have been in high demand over the past few years, and GM continues to show signs of growth after emerging from bankruptcy in 2009 with its latest models.

Chevrolet Dealer Columbia is now carrying the all new, 2011 Chevrolet Avalanche.  It was ranked number 6 out of 9 Full Size Pickup Trucks.  It comes with a 5.3 liter V8 with Active Fuel Management.  This engine features cylinder deactivation technology for increase fuel economy.  It shuts down four cylinders automatically when they are not needed.  The engine is paired with a Hydra-Matic six speed electronically controlled automatic transmission with overdrive.

The Avalanche, from Brooklyn Park Chevrolet Dealer, comes with a pretty basic protection package.  It consists of three years or 36,000 mile basic warranty and five year or 60,000 mile drivetrain and roadside assistance warranty.  It also did very well on crash tests.  They received five stars for driver and front passenger protection in frontal impacts, five stars for the front and rear seat in side impacts and three stars for both two and four-wheel drive rollover tests.  Chevrolet has also installed many safety features into this truck.  Some of them include; anti-lock brakes and StabiliTrak Electronic Stability Control.  There is also a Passenger Sensing system.  This system automatically switches the right front passenger airbag on or off based on the passengers weight and the type of pressure on the seat.  Head curtain side impact airbags come standard.

Now if you are looking for something a little bit smaller, check out the 2011 Chevrolet Colorado at Dublin Chevrolet Dealer.  It was ranked number 6 out of 7 Compact Pickup Trucks.  It has several different engines.  The base engine is a 2.9 liter four cylinder that can create 185 horsepower and 190 pound feet of torque.  The middle engine is a 3.7 liter five cylinder that can create 242 horsepower and 242 pound feet of torque.  Then there is the top of the line V8 which can create 300 horsepower and 320 pound feet of torque.  A four speed automatic transmission is standard with the V8 and the five cylinder, while the five speed manual comes with the four cylinder.

Chevrolet has given the Colorado pretty much the same protection package as the Avalanche.  The only difference is that roadside assistance is not offered.  The 2011 model has yet to be crash tested, but the 2010 model did very well.  They received five stars for driver and front passenger protection in frontal crash tests, five stars for rear passenger protection but only earned three stars for driver protection in side crash tests.  The Colorado also comes with a long list of safety features.  Some of them include; front and side airbags, four-wheel anti-lock brakes with discs in the front and drums in the rear as well as stability and traction control.

The new 2011 Chevy Silverado 1500 Hybrid, which can be found at Chevrolet Dealership Hendersonville, was ranked number 5 out of 9 Full Size Pickup Trucks.  It comes with one powertrain option; a 6.0 liter V8 mated to two 80-horsepower electric motors and an extremely advanced automatic transmission.  The 322 horsepower V8 has extra fuel saving technology, including cylinder deactivation. The V8 is also flex fuel capable, which means it can run on either gasoline or E85 ethanol.

The Silverado 1500 Hybrid, from Chevrolet Dealership Widger, received high ratings on crash tests.  They received five star for driver and front passenger protection in frontal impact crashes.   It also comes with a long list of safety features.  Some of them include; stability control, anti-lock disc brakes and full-length side curtain airbags.  OnStar is also included.

Now if you are looking for something more family oriented, Vermilion Chevrolet now ha the 2011 Chevy Equinox.  It was ranked number 1 out of 24 Affordable Compact SUVs.  It's engines include a direct-injection 2.4 liter four-cylinder that generates 182 horsepower and an optional 3.0 liter V6 that generates 264 horsepower.  The V6 offers slightly more acceleration, but the four-cylinder is good enough for most buyers.

This Chevy has an alright protection package.  It consists of three years or 36,000 mile basic warranty as well as a transferable five year or 100,000 mile powertrain warranty and roadside assistance.  The 2011 model has yet to be tested, but the 2010 model did very well.  They received five stars in frontal and side crash tests and four stars for rollover testing.  The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety gave the 2010 model it's highest ranking of "Good" in front, side and rear crash protection.  They also received a ranking of "Good" for roof strength tests.

The Equinox also comes with a long list of safety features.  Some of them include; dual-stage frontal airbags, thorax side impact airbags, seat mounted driver and front passenger airbags, head curtain airbags for outboard seating positions.  They also have four wheel anti-lock brakes, stabilitrak electronic stability control system, traction control system, brake assist and not to forget OnStar Automatic Crash Response and Emergency Services.  There is also a rear view camera and rear parking assist are optional on some models and standard on others.

GM's Malibu will be sold in markets like Korea that GM is hoping to make more sales in. The interest in the Malibu has been growing in Korea and other markets that GM has not had a major prescence in.
