Seven Seat Minivan to Debut;
Chevrolet will debut a seven seat minivan at a Paris auto show. The minivan will be called the Orlando and the Chevy brand is hoping to reach Europe in a new marketing offensive. The Orlando will bring great value for the money like many models sold at New Haven Jeep Dealers. Chevrolet has made progress with several of its models like the Chevy Camaro and the Chevy Silverado which can be found at a discount during Chevy Silverado Deals. However, Chevrolet is looking to take even larger marketing shares of markets like Europe and India as the company expands its brand.
The Orlando minivan is particularly designed for the European auto market that enjoys vehicles that are both fully featured and fuel efficient. CT Acura Dealers sell models that are similar to many standard European vehicles that are both reliable and efficient. The Orlando brings a new element of freshness and class to the minivan market, and GM executives want to market the minivan as being a stylish but efficient way to transport groups.
Key markets have seen the end of incentives such as Germany, Italy, and the United Kingdom, and as a result Chevrolet and GM sales have stalled a bit in those markets. GM is looking to regain market shares with this and other upcoming models that are suited particularly for the European buyer. The European sales of Chevrolet fell 4.7 percent for the first six months of 2010. The result is that Chevrolet has a 1.3 percent market share of the European market which is actually down from 1.4 percent in 2010.
GM hopes to turn this lowered market share around by the time that the year ends. However, this may not be possible unless GM launches new incentives for the European market since the economy in Europe is also in a recession.
